Hand mode is where the drive runs from a fixed frequency or speed reference where the process PID
loop is disabled. The user can modify the hand mode frequency or speed as detailed in the following
steps.
Before starting, it is important to identify the type of motor used in the application. If the type of motor
isn’t known, please contact the motor manufacturer to find out if it is an induction or permanent magnet
motor.
